London is one of those cities capable of stealing your heart.

London is multiform, multiethnic, multi-structural, and multi-functional. It is a sequence of buildings, red bricks, and alleys; it is the mecca of new designers, vinyl shops, indoor markets, signs, taxis, and double-decker buses. Its soul is characterized by a structure without structure.

They say that two days in London are not enough. But maybe two days are the right amount of time to breath its vintage soul as well as the intensity of its grey sky. Two days are enough to enjoy its doors that make you feel like leaving everything behind in order to move to one of those lovely Victorian houses. Two days are enough to understand that the typical British breakfast may not be the lightest meal in the world, but it boosts you with energy all day long. Two days are enough to understand that London is just unique. Tourists from all over the world and from all over the UK come to visit it. As you walk through its streets you see people of all kinds: punks and elegant businessmen; people wearing flip flops as well as unique and odd looks and matches that here seem to be just right. So when you are here you also forget about Italian fashion rules and you wear a fancy dress with sneakers.

Here everything is possible. Even buying a Pink Floyd vinyl as you are trying to bargain over its price, but then you end up buying it full price because you are enchanted by the story of the man who is selling it to you. A man who still remembers the name of the restaurant in Rome where 15 years ago he asked his wife to marry him.
Once in London you allow yourself to get geographically and logically lost. You get lost in this city where you need to double check before crossing the street as traffic runs the other way round. You get lost in this city where you can meet old friends and make new ones. This city is full of people coming from all over the world; people full of curiosity and willing to learn new lessons and to challenge themselves. Whether you like it or not, this is what London is about.
